I have been having a lot of fun promoting the book. a few weekends ago I was up at the Doctors House Museum where I am a docent and they were doing a fundraiser to raise funds to repair the door. what better way to help then do goat yoga… of course I made “Apricot Goat Cheese Amaretto Ice Cream” this flavor is very complex and is not only inspired by my cousins cousin robyn… it was also inspired by the first taste of Goat Cheese that April Falzone our food stylist on Gilmore girls gave me. a few weeks before I made it another neighbor gave me a bottle of Amaretto as a birthday gift. She had no idea I didn’t drink but I’m always inspired by flavors so I decided to cook with it… It was amazing! :) never be afraid to try something new… the worst thing is you have a quick taste you don’t like…the best thing will be you will have a lifetime of new flavors to inspire you.
